Where understanding meets comfort along your grief journey, and stays for the long haul…

Peer-led support group providing connection, understanding and comfort through the journey of grief.
At Good Grief, we create a safe and welcoming space where anyone navigating loss can feel seen, heard, and supported. Through our weekly meetings, either in person or virtually, we enjoy guided conversations, in an inclusive environment where members have the opportunity and support to share their stores, listen to others without judgement, and form lasting connections.
Good Grief was born from a simple need: a friend wanted more meaningful connection and support while grieving, but wasn’t interested in the typical clinical model. From that need, our founder built and fostered a peer-led community focused on comfort, understanding, and long-term support, cultivating a place where people can navigate grief together, at their own pace.
FAQs
What is Good Grief?
Good Grief is a peer-led support community where people come together to share their experiences, listen without judgement, and find comfort and connection while navigating grief.
Who can join the group?
Anyone who has experienced loss is welcome. We honor all types of grief, from the loss of a loved one, to life changes and other personal challenges. We strive to create and enforce an inclusive and supportive environment.
Do I need to be in therapy to attend?
We do want our members to remain aware that we are not therapists, however, there is no requirement for attendance. Many members may be in therapy or have completed therapeutic work, but Good Grief is designed as a peer-led space where people can connect and support one another, regardless of clinical experience.
How do meetings work?
We host weekly virtual and in-person meetings. Meetings may include guided conversation, open discussion, or an activity. The final in-person meeting of every month also holds space for honoring loved ones who were born in that month. Virtual meetings can be attended by clicking the link on our website under, “Meetings / Upcoming Events.”
